When a senior dog is surrendered to a shelter -- too old, too sick, too costly -- most people walk past. Old Dog Haven takes them in, places them in permanent foster homes across western Washington, and covers their care for life. That's the kind of quiet, necessary work we want to stand behind.

They take in the dogs that no one else will. The 12-year-old with arthritis. The 14-year-old who lost their person. They place them in permanent foster homes across western Washington, cover all veterinary care, and give them what every living thing deserves: a safe place to spend their final years.

They prioritize the oldest dogs and those with the most serious health needs — the ones furthest from anyone’s adoption list.

Why Haven Theory chose them: Old Dog Haven is rooted in the same part of the Pacific Northwest we call home. Their mission is quiet, unglamorous, and deeply necessary. They don’t chase headlines. They just show up for the dogs that need it most. That’s the kind of work we want to stand behind.

What's Next

In Q2 2026, Haven Theory will continue supporting Old Dog Haven as our founding nonprofit partner. As our community grows, we plan to expand our giving to additional organizations across our three focus areas: animal welfare, survivor support, and immigration services.

We started Haven Theory with a simple belief: the things you wear can mean something beyond fabric and fit. They can be a quiet act of giving.

We’re two people, early in this journey. We don’t have a warehouse or a marketing department. We have a kitchen table, a shared Google Drive, and a promise we intend to keep.

This first Ripple Report is small. $20 to an organization that cares for senior dogs that no one else will take. It’s not the number that matters right now. It’s the commitment behind it: that every purchase, every quarter, every dollar will be accounted for. Right here. Publicly.
